US Consulate car tries to run over Jew

So? Who cares?

Sure, one can't differenciate between this attempted terror attack and the terror attack from the 2nd of July 2008 when an Arab terrorist stole a tractor and ran over as many Jews as he could, or the terror attack from the 22nd of July 2008 when another Arab terrorist stole a bulldozer and tried to run over as many Jews as possible, or when on 5th of March 2009 an Arab terrorist took a car and tried to run over as many Jews as possible.
Obviously one can't differentiate between this attempted terror attack and those 3 terror attacks.

BUT a car belonging to a diplomatic service in Israel has diplomatic immunity and can not be stopped - the only thing Israel can and should do is to now say that the driver of that car will no longer have diplomatic immunity or be allowed to be in the country.

Sure, if it was a national border crossing and the US car was crossing in to or out of a country from another entity and/or country then obviously the car wouldn't have diplomatic immunity - since the diplomatic mission would only have diplomatic imminutiy in one of the countries/entities.

But since Samaria and Beit Shean (where the car was travelling in between) are both integral and inseperable parts of the State of Israel, Israel can do nothing except ask the driver the leave to leave the country.

British occupied territory

If products coming from Judea or Samaria are going to be labelled as coming from “Israeli occupied territory" when sold in Britain then products coming from a country that isn't Britain but has the British queen's face on their money should be labelled as coming from "British occupied territory" when being sold in Israel.

Divide Jerusalem?

Seriously, [Swedish Foreign Minister] Mr Bildt... Do you really think dividing Jerusalem and giving half of it to the Arabs is such a good idea? Just look at your' capital city!

You divided Stockholm and now have most of the city's Arab population living in Rinkeby.
But would you say that this has worked out well for you? Or would you say that Sweden's apartheid politics have created a suburb with huge problems? - Just look at Rinkeby's above average crime-and-rape-rate!

White Papers & Judenrein

We, The Jewish People, overcame the British White paper.

We, The Jewish People, overcame the Nazi's attempt to Judenrein the world.

We, The Jewish People, will overcome Iraqi President Hussein's - oops, I mean American President Hussein's - latest attempt to impose upon us a combination of the British White Paper & the Nazi Judenrein philosophy.
We, the People of Israel, are home & lovin' it - and no dictator in the world will tell us where to go or what to do!

EUgnorance?

An extract from the EU resolution passed today (10th December 2009):
"The EU will not recognize any changes to the pre-1967 borders, including with regard to Jerusalem,..."

Question: Was there any palestinian state in the pre-1967 borders?

Not Only Golda

IF YOU SPEAK HEBREW, DON'T READ THIS, INSTEAD READ THE BETTER WRITTEN ORIGINAL ARTCLE IN HEBREW (http://www.sos-israel.com/11826.html).

Did you think that late Prime Minister Golda Meir is the only one to determine that there is no Palestinian nation? Think again! * The Palestinian state is a fabrication invented to conquer Israel, Palestinians are Jordanians and Syrians, depending on which Arab leaders you ask * The truth that Muslims in Yesha and their leftist cohorts want you to forget

At the Annapolis Conference in 5767 (2007), President George Bush spoke about his dream of two states for two nations. The question is raised: are we really talking about two nations? Let's check that out. One nation is for sure; the Jewish nation that preserved its unchanged identity during the 2,000 year exile from their one and only homeland of Biblical times- Eretz Yisroel. Who is the second nation? Is that nation really homeless? Let's listen to their official spokesmen:

In 5737 (1977) Zuheir Muchsein, head of the Al Tzaaka terror organization [a faction of the PLO terror organization] said the following in an interview to the Dutch newspaper Trouw:

"The Palestinian nation is non-existent. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new implement in the extended war with Israel, for the unification of the Arabs. For all intents and purposes, there is no difference between Syrian Palestinians, Jordanians and Lebanese. We speak today about the existence of a Palestinian entity because it serves our national Arab purpose to stand up against Zionism.

I will be very open with you: the border issue doesn't interest us. From the Arab point of view, we don't have to speak about borders; Palestine is only a drop in the big ocean. Our nation stretches from the Atlantic to the Red Sea, and beyond." It seems that Arafat's nation for "those without a homeland" fits into lands bigger than all of Europe.

But there is nothing better than the statement of the first PLO chairman-Achmed Shukeiri who announced in 1956, in his previous capacity as Arab League representative, that "there is no such thing as Palestine. This country is the southern part of greater Syria."

If Achmed Shukeiri says that Palestine is non-existent, it follows that Palestinians do not exist either. This very same person became the chairman of the PLO which was established in 1964 by Egyptian President Nasser- an organization to liberate a land, that according to him doesn't exist!

If you aren't stunned enough, here is some more: while Arafat was still in Jordan, he leaked the truth, off guardedly, to Oriana Palazz'i, an Italian journalist. He revealed that the PLO is fighting Israel in the name of Pan- Arabism. He added: "what is called Tran Jordan, is none other than Palestine".

So here is a summation: Achmed Shukeiri says that Palestine is Syria, while Arafat claims that it is Jordan, but reveals who is the one fighting Israel… pan Arabism.

So the truth is out. The real war against us is being waged by pan- Arabism, which is another way of saying: the Arab – Moslem world consisting of 22 countries that are at war with Israel.

Life and coffee in the Middle East...

What happens when a fly falls into a coffee cup?

The Englishman:
Throws away the cup of coffee and walks away.

The American:
Takes out the fly and drinks the coffee.

The Chinaman:
Eats the fly and throws away the coffee.

The Japanese:
Drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra.

The Israeli:
Sells the coffee to the American, the fly to the Chinese, and buys himself a new cup of coffee.

The Palestinian:
Blames the Israeli for the violent act of putting the fly in his coffee; asks the UN for aid, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee; uses the money to purchase explosives, then blows up the coffee house, where:

The Englishman, the American, the Chinaman and the Japanese are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he was too aggressive.

Arabs Deny Refugee Problem

Joan Peters, in her classic work "From Time Immemorial," quotes (on page 13) an Arab-sponsored Institute for Palestine Studies finding that "the majority" of the Arab refugees in 1948 were not expelled, and that 68% left without seeing an Israeli soldier. On April 27, 1950, the Arab National Committee of Haifa informed the Arab States: "The removal of the Arab inhabitants... was voluntary and was carried out at our request... The Arab delegation proudly asked for the evacuation of the Arabs and their removal to the neighboring Arab countries."

Zuheir Muhsein, the late Military Department head of the PLO and member of its Executive Council, told the Dutch daily Trouw, March 1977, "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity... Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people... to oppose Zionism."

International Norms when Fighting in areas with Civilians

International Norms to Limit Collateral Damage

 Australian Defense Force Manual:

The presence of non-combatants in or around a military objective does not change its nature as a military objective. Non-combatants in the vicinity of a military objective must share the danger to which the military objective is exposed.

Belgian Teaching Manual for Soldiers:

Objects occupied or used by enemy military forces are military objectives even if these objects were civilian at the outset (houses, schools or churches occupied by the enemy).

Spain’s Law of Armed Conflict Manual:

The principle of proportionality…is based on recognition of the fact that it is difficult to limit the effects of modern weapons and methods of warfare exclusively to military objectives and that it is likely that they will cause collateral damage to civilians and civilian objects.

Human shields

Terrorist organizations that hide behind civilians bear the primary responsibility for civilian casualties

“Should civilian casualties ensue from an attempt to shield combatants or a military objective, the ultimate responsibility lies with the belligerent placing innocent civilians at risk.”

-Dinstein, ‘Conduct of Hostilities under the Law of International Armed Conflict’

Gaza, the world’s most densely populated area? Not even close to the truth!

Well, first of all, it is necessary to clarify that there is NO place called Gaza. There is a city called Gaza City and an area called the Gaza Strip. Gaza City is located in the Gaza Strip.

This piece of research compares a number of cities with one another. The research makes one single exception: it adds in the Gaza Strip which, even though it is not a city but in fact a large area of land, has been included to give the comparison added perspective.

At the time of writing, January 6th 2009, Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org/) revealed statistics concerning the size of various urban centres and their respective populations. I took the population and divided it by the city’s size (square kilometres). Here are the results:

Paris..................249
48.1 people/Km2
Mumbai...............22643.2 people/Km2
Monaco..............16818.5 people/Km2
Buenos Aires........14946.6 people/Km2
New York............10482.0 people/Km2
Tel Aviv..............7530.9 people/Km2
Singapore............6844.0 people/Km2
Jerusalem............5971.2 people/Km2
Mexico City..........5950.2 people/Km2
Rio de Janeiro.......5671.0 people/Km2
London...............4939.7 people/Km2
Amsterdam..........4549.8 people/Km2
Ashdod...............4376.3 people/Km2
Sderot................4288.9 people/Km2
Haifa..................4165.1 people/Km2
Gaza Strip............4114.1 people/Km2
Toronto..............3973.5 people/Km2
Rishon Leziyon......3821.1 people/Km2
Washington DC.....3699.9 people/Km2
Stockholm............3330.8 people/Km2
Shanghai ............2930.6 people/Km2
Gaza City ............2713.1 people/Km2

The statistics reveal that the claim regarding congestion in what is loosely termed “Gaza” is a lie! The table shows that Gaza City is not the most densely populated area in the world – it is not even close to being the most densely populated area in the world! Even Sderot, which has had rockets raining down on it from the Gaza Strip every day for the past eight years, is more densely populated than the Gaza Strip is.

Proportional? I think not!

Proportional? Not even close to it!
Hamas’ war against Israel: 2634 days
Israel’s war against Hamas: 21 days

Who is guilty?

Often Israel is seen as the aggressor and the Gaza residents are seen as the poor defenceless defendants since more Gaza residents die than Israelis, in this war of aggression launched by Gaza.

This would mean that Nazi-Germany, which lost roughly 7,400,000 people during World War II in its war of aggression against its neighbours, also is a poor defenceless defendant, since Great Britain “only” lost roughly 450,000 people during the entire war, making them the attacker and aggressor.

Proportionate response

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-2_rocket fewer than 1500 missiles were fired at London from about August 1944 until the last V2 was fired on 27 March 1945. All told fewer than 4000 V2s were launched......

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Dresden_in_World_War_II the British and US air forces bombed Dresden, Germany over a period of 2 days (13-15 February 1945) killing between 25,000 and 250,000 civilians.

So for 4000 rockets you are apparently supposed to kill between 25,000 and 250,000 civilians. I assume this means that for the more than 10,000 Kassam rockets launched from Gaza, Israel should kill between 62,500 and 625,000 civilians?

Yitzhak Rabin's z"l last speech in The Knesset

The following is an excerpt from Yitzhak Rabin's z"l last speech in The Knesset
5 Oct 1995

...

In the framework of the permanent solution, we aspire to reach, first and foremost, the State of Israel as a Jewish state, at least 80% of whose citizens will be, and are, Jews.

At the same time, we also promise that the non-Jewish citizens of Israel -- Muslim, Christian, Druze and others -- will enjoy full personal, religious and civil rights, like those of any Israeli citizen. Judaism and racism are diametrically opposed.

We view the permanent solution in the framework of State of Israel which will include most of the area of the Land of Israel as it was under the rule of the British Mandate, and alongside it a Palestinian entity which will be a home to most of the Palestinian residents living in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

We would like this to be an entity which is less than a state, and which will independently run the lives of the Palestinians under its authority. The borders of the State of Israel, during the permanent solution, will be beyond the lines which existed before the Six Day War. We will not return to the 4 June 1967 lines.

And these are the main changes, not all of them, which we envision and want in the permanent solution:

A. First and foremost, united Jerusalem, which will include both Ma'ale Adumim and Givat Ze'ev -- as the capital of Israel, under Israeli sovereignty, while preserving the rights of the members of the other faiths, Christianity and Islam, to freedom of access and freedom of worship in their holy places, according to the customs of their faiths.

B. The security border of the State of Israel will be located in the Jordan Valley, in the broadest meaning of that term.

C. Changes which will include the addition of Gush Etzion, Efrat, Beitar and other communities, most of which are in the area east of what was the "Green Line," prior to the Six Day War.

D. The establishment of blocs of settlements in Judea and Samaria, like the one in Gush Katif.

...

The Arab-Nazi connection

“There are those who say that if the Holocaust had not occurred, the State of Israel would never have been established. But I say that if the State of Israel had been established earlier, the Holocaust would never have occurred.” Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu in his policy speech, 14th June 2009.

The State of Israel was not founded as a result of the Holocaust, but rather as a result of the Jewish nation’s desire to return home.

My grandmother, her grandmother and her great grandmother on both my mother’s and father’s side, no matter how religious they may or may not have been in both Eastern Europe and Iraq, every year on Yom Kippur and Passover, recited “לשנה הבאה בירושלים הבנויה” or in English “Next year in rebuilt Jerusalem” – this is the core of Zionism.

At every Jewish wedding “אם אשכחך ירושלים תשכח ימיני, תדבק לשוני לחכי”, “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither, let my tongue cleave to my palate” is recited – reminding us that we have only one home, which is why we the Jewish nation politely declined the offer of being settled in Uganda, as was offered by Britain.

The Jewish people have for the past two painful millennia been yearning to return home and rebuild their state in their homeland. The People of Israel in the Land of Israel.

In 1896 – 43 years before the Holocaust – Theodor Herzl published his book Der Judenstaat (The State of the Jews) in which he took one ancient integral part of the Jewish faith and gave that part a specific name – Zionism. The idea of the People of Israel returning home to the Land of Israel and re-establishing their National Home was not born, rather reborn.

The five Aliyahs (waves of immigration) occurred from 1881 to 1939 – they started half a decade before Herzl’s Zionist vision came alive and ended just before the Holocaust started.

However, there are those who believe that the State of Israel was created as a result of the horrors of the Holocaust and Europe’s guilty conscience at sitting idly and watching while the Jews were being slaughtered. This is obviously false – Israel would have been created anyway, as the timeline proves.

There are nonetheless those who choose to believe in the above theory. There are those who even take it one step further and say that the Arabs should not have to pay the price of Europe’s wrongdoing. To those people I say: the local Arab population did not pay the price. 77% of the Land of Israel (the British Mandate) was given to them to form a new Arab country; Transjordan (now called Jordan). This new country by law banned Jews from residing in it and owning property – Jews whose families had for generations lived in what became the new Arab state of Transjordan were promptly kicked out.

In 1937, the Peel Commission decided that the remaining 23% of the Land of Israel was to be split, with yet another half going to the same Arabs who had already received 77% of the original Mandate territory. The Arabs refused. In 1947 the UN came up with a similar plan – again the Arabs refused. The plans were for the remaining 23% of the Land of Israel to be split amongst the Jewish and Arab populations according to where they lived – predominantly Arab areas would become part of the second Arab state in the Land of Israel while predominantly Jewish areas would become the tiny Jewish state in the Land of Israel. In line with Arab policy, Jews from the second Arab state in the Land of Israel were kicked out – as were most of the Jews in every single Arab state throughout the world, totalling roughly 800,000 Jewish refugees. However, as opposed to the Arab policy of ethnic cleansing, the Jewish state offered full citizenship and rights (including voting rights – making it the first country in the Middle East to offer Arabs the right to vote in free democratic elections) to the Arab minority that remained in the newly reborn State of Israel. Some Arabs agreed to stay on and some Arabs left.

The Arabs repeatedly refused the three-state solution – two Arab states in the Land of Israel, and one small Jewish state consisting of the predominantly Jewish areas in what was left of the Land of Israel.

The Jewish movement (Zionism) never aimed at taking Arab lands. However, back to the claim by some people that it is not right for the Arabs to suffer for what Europe did during the Holocaust. The fact is they did not. But let us assume for a moment that they did. So what?

What is wrong with the Arabs who resided in the Land of Israel prior to the rebirth of the Jewish State suffering as a result of the Arabs’ contribution to the Holocaust? I can see why it would be wrong had the local Arabs fought actively against the terror of the Holocaust, or even just taken a passive, neutral idle role, but they did not. They actively aided and abetted the German Nazi regime. They wanted to bring the same systematic killing of Jews on a mechanised industrial scale to the Land of Israel.

Just as Jews in Britain served in the British Armed Forces and Jews in the Land of Israel volunteered to serve in the Jewish Brigade, with their Zionist flag serving as the brigade’s official flag, doing sterling service in the British Armed Forces in the fight against the Nazis, the Arabs in the Land of Israel saw Hitler and his Nazi regime as “…natural friends fighting common enemies: Britain, the Jews…” as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem told Hitler during the former’s visit to Germany in 1941.

Muhammed Amin al-Husseini had been incarcerated for a 1920 attack against Jews who were praying at their holiest site, the Western Wall of the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. In 1922 he was pardoned by the British High Commissioner in the Land of Israel, Sir Herbert Samuel, because of Samuel’s anti-Zionist ideology. Not only was Muhammed Amin al-Husseini pardoned and made mufti, a new title was created for him: the title of Grand Mufti. Muhammed Amin al-Husseini was also made President of the Supreme Muslim Council, thereby becoming the leader in both the political and religious spheres of the Arabs in the Land of Israel.

According to documentation from the Nuremberg and Eichmann trials, Nazi Germany’s dreaded SS helped finance the Grand Mufti’s acts of violence against Jews in the Land of Israel from 1936 to 1939, and Adolf Eichmann maintained regular contact with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem from Berlin.

In 1940 the Grand Mufti requested that the following be acknowledged as an Arab right: “... to settle the question of Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries in accordance with the national and racial interests of the Arabs and along the lines similar to those used to solve the Jewish question in Germany and Italy”.

During the Nuremberg trials Eichmann’s deputy Dieter Wisliceny said “The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan. ... He was one of Eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had visited incognito the gas chamber of Auschwitz.”

“Haj Amin al-Husseini, who issued a fatwa (Islamic religious ruling) calling on all Muslims to help the pro-Axis government in Iraq, became one of England’s most wanted men.” http://www.nyjtimes.com/cover/03-08-05/NaziRootsOfPalestinianNationalism.htm

In 1939 Britain issued a White Paper severely restricting Jewish movement to the Jewish Homeland as a result of Arab pressure, in the hope that this would calm the Arabs, yet two years later in 1941 the Mufti struck the British again by issuing a fatwa for a holy war against Britain from his base in Iraq and later that year underscored his animosity towards Britain by meeting with Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany. Restrictions on Jewish immigration to the Land of Israel meant the Jews faced the only path left open to them, the path of the concentration camps and gas chambers. The Arabs in the Land of Israel therefore most certainly do carry considerable blame for the Holocaust.

After Muhammed Amin al-Husseini’s death he was followed by his nephew, the terrorist chieftain Yasser Arafat who after he died was followed by the present incumbent, Mahmoud Abbas, who wrote his doctoral dissertation denying the Holocaust.

The point of the above discourse is to prove that the Arabs in the Land of Israel have an integral and undeniable role in the Holocaust. They sided with the aggressors (the Nazis), unlike the Jewish people who sided with the defending Allies. Since the Nazis lost it is no more than fair that their Arab allies be required to pay part of the price. Just like Germany lost territory as a consequence of the Second World War so too should the Arabs in the Land of Israel. However, they did not. The undeniable historical fact is that they were offered two Arab (Jew-free) states in the Land of Israel, once in 1937 and twice since the end of the Second World War, once in 1947 and again in 2000-2001. All three times they declined and chose instead the path of death, war and destruction.

The Jewish nation has every right to live in its homeland, in the homeland of its forefathers; Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We never left voluntarily, we were forcibly exiled and we never gave up our right to return home. This is our land; we have historic and religious connections to the land. We are the only people who have resided in this land without a break, in sometimes smaller and sometimes bigger numbers, but we have always had a presence here since the exodus from Egypt.

The Jewish nation has the right to settle in its homeland and to join fellow Jews who never left. While there were Arabs who did leave the Land of Israel following the State of Israel’s foundation, the blame for that migration does not lie with Israel. Rather, it was the result of a war started by the Arabs with the sole purpose of expelling Jews from the entire Middle East.

The Arabs should have paid the price for siding with the Nazis, but as always they have been shielded from the consequences of their own misdeeds. The Arabs did not suffer as a result of the Jewish nation returning home. On the contrary, it is where the Jewish people settled that democracy, freedom, prosperity, medical care and education have bloomed – for Jew and Arab alike. The People of Israel were going to re-establish their State of Israel in the Land of Israel with or without the Holocaust, and as Benjamin Netanyahu said, had we just established our homeland a few years earlier, there would have been no Holocaust.

It is the simplest facts that are often overlooked by egocentric politicians with an eye on personal glory rather than lasting solutions based on principle and honesty. Foreign dignitaries would do well to return to the history books and learn to speak less but say more.

Captured

Reporters CNN Journalist Christianne Amanpour and Former CBS Journalist Dan Rather, and an Israeli sergeant were all captured by terrorists in Iraq. The leader of the terrorists told them that he would grant them each one last request before they were beheaded.

Dan Rather said, "Well, I'm a Texan, so I'd like one last bowlful of hot spicy chili." The leader nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chili. Rather ate it all and said, "Now I can die content."

Christianne Amanpour said, "I'm a reporter to the end. I want to take out my tape recorder and describe the scene here and what's about to happen. Maybe someday someone will hear it and know that I was on the job till the end." The leader directed an aide to hand over the tape recorder and Amanpour dictated some comments. She then said, "Now I can die happy."

The leader turned and said, "And now, Mr. Israeli tough guy, what is your final wish?"

"Kick me," said the soldier.

"What?" asked the leader? "Will you mock us in your last hour?"

"No, I'm not kidding. I want you to kick me," insisted the Israeli.

So the leader shoved him into the open and kicked him.

The soldier went sprawling, but rolled to his knees, pulled a 9 mm pistol from under his flack jacket, and shot the leader dead. In the resulting confusion, he jumped to his knapsack, pulled out his carbine and sprayed the terrorists with gunfire. In a flash, all terrorists were either dead or fleeing for their lives.

As the soldier was untying Rather and Amanpour, they asked him, "Why didn't you just shoot them in the beginning? Why did you ask them to kick you first?"

"What?" replied the Israeli, "And have you two schnooks report that I was the aggressor?!"
